About this Edition

After going through a difficult year in 2022 due to the after-effects of the pandemic, the festival presents its 12th edition this spring in hybrid mode in collaboration with Cinémathèque Québécoise. Movie-lovers can see 58 films, many of them Canadian premiers and award-winning, from several countries of the Indian sub-continent and their diaspora across the world. The on-site section, with 30 films, will be inaugurated on 28th April at the auditorium of the Grande Bibliothèque and moves on to De Seve Cinema (Concordia) and to Cinémathèque. The online section, with 28 films, takes place from 1st May to 10th May and can be accessed from across the world. All films are in competition for jury awards in their respective category (long/short, fiction/documentary).
